  8. cartoonist's animated, ornery Simpson family of The Tracey Ullman
  9. Show into a prime-time series. The strip -- with its traumatized
  10. rabbit Binky, the illegitimate one-eared Bongo, twins Akbar and
  11. Jeff and their nephews Gooey, Screwy and Ratatouille -- now haunts
  12. 105 publications. Notes Groening incredulously: "One paper wanted
  13. me to change the strip's name to Life in Heck." Heavens!
